Shirley Molitor

Shirley Ann Molitor, 74, of Arcadia, passed away in her home on Monday, January 28, 2013. Shirley was born on January 26, 1939, to LeRoy and Caroline (Bautch) Taplin in Whitehall. Throughout her life, Shirley worked hard and was always willing to help others. Her favorite job was working with the developmentally disabled. She retired in 2007 from Ashley Furniture Industries, where her cafeteria work allowed her to visit with many familiar faces. Shirley's greatest joy was spending time with her six grandsons. She was also close with her many nieces and nephews. "Auntie" will be greatly missed.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, her infant brother, Richard, and her sister Elizabeth "Betty" Rohn. Shirley is survived by her sister Deborah (Merlin) Brekke of Stockton, Minnesota; daughter Stephanie (Kevin) Pfaff of Independence; daughter Stacie (Brad) Wagner of Middleton; son LeRoy (Missi) Molitor of Eau Claire; six grandsons, Henry, Ian, Alexander, and Wesley Pfaff, Noah and Lincoln Molitor; many nieces and nephews, including Patrick (Nancy) Rohn, Bridget (Kerry) Tamke, Thomas (Kay Marie) Rohn and Vicky (Mitch) Meyer.
Memorial services for Shirley will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013, at 11:30 AM at Holy Family Parish, in Arcadia, with Father Raj officiating. Friends may call at church from 10:30 AM until the time of services.
