Scott Francis Chambers, 35, of Independence and formerly of Arcadia, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, November 29, 2018, in his home.
Scott was born in Arcadia on August 28, 1983, to Steven and Rose (Mahutga) Chambers. After high school, Scott enlisted into the National Guard. Scott was employed in the stockroom at Ashley Furniture Industries, and though quiet in nature, made many friends during his time of employment. He loved to ride and work on his motorcycle, but most of all, Scott loved to spend time with his daughter, Izabelle.
He will be sadly missed by his wife, Hope (Klimek) of Independence; daughters: Brenna of Milwaukee and Izabelle at home; stepson, Spencer Gerow at home; his parents Steve and Rose of Arcadia; brothers: Spenser (Melissa) of Shawano, and Matthew (LeAnn) of Georgetown, MS; nieces and nephews: Taylor, Carson, Abbigail, Kendal, Scarlett, Everett and Annelise; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Orvin "Pete" and Gertrude Chambers and maternal grandparents, Everett and Marion Mahutga.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2018, at Holy Family Parish with co-celebrants Fathers Sebastian Kolodziejczyk and Kyle Laylan officiating. Family and friends are invited for visitation on Tuesday evening from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home and also from 10 a.m. until the time of service at church on Wednesday.
