Ronald Weltzien

Ronald J. Weltzien, 75, of Arcadia died on Tuesday, November 13, 2012, in Marietta, Oklahoma, on their way to winter in Texas. He was born on January 29, 1937, in Arcadia to John and Clara (Pape) Weltzien. He married Rosemary Thomas on Feb. 14, 1956, in Arcadia. He farmed in rural Arcadia.
Ron is survived by his wife Rosemary of Arcadia, four sons; Robb (Susan) of Arcadia, Ray (Pamela) of Galesville, Ron (Karen) of Galesville, Rick (Beth) of Galesville, two daughters; Ronda Lettner of Galesville, Rita (Michael) Edmunds of Arcadia, 15 grandchildren, 4 great grand- children, two sisters; Dorothy Sobotta of Arcadia and Janice (Rev. Ron) Walter of Boerne, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Gaylord Weltzien and a grandson, Lee Michael Weltzien.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at 12:00 PM (Noon) at St. Bartholemew Catholic Church in Trempealeau, with the Rev. Edmund Doerre officiating. Friends may call on Monday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home, where there will be a 6:00 PM prayer service. Friends may also call on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the time of services at the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, rural Arcadia.
