Roman F. Pronschinske, age 86, of Arcadia died Wednesday, November 26, 2014, at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, WI.
He was born June 8, 1928, to George and Edna (Zeller) Pronschinske in Waumandee, WI. On September 16, 1952, Roman married Ruth Schwertel at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Arcadia, WI. Roman farmed for many years. He later worked for Dairyland Laboratories for 17 years. Roman was a member of Holy Family Parish and a past member of St. Boniface Cemetery Board, Town of Montana Board and the Garden Valley Board of Directors.
Roman is survived by his wife Ruth, 2 daughters; Kathy (Robert) Kampa of Arcadia, WI, Virginia (Scott) Kubis ofArcadia, WI, 3 sons; Greg (Lenice) Pronschinske of Independence, WI, Steve (Mary Ann) Pronschinske of Independence, WI, and George (Penny) Pronschinske of Waumandee, WI, 15 grandchildren, and 18 great grandchildren, and a daughter - in - law Julie Pronschinske. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Joseph, a brother Louis, a twin brother Raymond, 2 sisters; Alice Soppa, Verna Scherbring, infant brother Joseph, a great granddaughter Elise Davis and a son-in-law Wayne Pierzina
A Memorial Mass will be held 10:00 AM Monday, December 1, 2014, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Waumandee, WI Rev. Brian Jazdzewski will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date in St. Boniface Cemetery in Waumandee, WI. Friends may call from 4:00 - 7:00 PM, with a Prayer service starting at 7:00 PM Sunday November 30, 2014, at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home in Arcadia, and from 9 :00 AM until services at St. Boniface Catholic Church on Monday.
