Richard Simone

Richard J. Simone, 56, formerly of Eau Claire and surrounding area, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, MN. 

Rich was born on May 19, 1968, in Chicago, IL to Vito and Margie (Rice) Simone. He moved to Western Wisconsin, where he worked at various places including Nelson Global, Burger King, Ashley Furniture, and American Cab Company. He was united in marriage to Carla Patti, and though the marriage didn’t last, the couple was blessed with 5 children. Rich loved and was proud of all of his children and loved his furbabies: Cuddles, Maggie, Kalli and Smokey. He enjoyed traveling all over the United States with his former girlfriend, Shauntae, celebrating Christmas and was an avid Chicago Bears fan. 

Rich is survived by his children: Victor Simone, Elizabeth (Nate Martinez) Simone, Tina Simone-Dolan, Vinny and Matthew Simone; grandchildren: Bella, Abigail and Luna; friend: Shauntae Servais; step-children: Ariana (Chad), Bryan (Jasoline), Chyanne (Alex); step-grandchildren: Brooklyn, Hayden, Emma, McKinlee, Azalea, Wyatt, and Oaklyn; and many cousins and other relatives. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and granddaughter: Leola Martinez. 

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home, Arcadia. Family and friends are welcome to come and share stories and memories before Rich is laid to rest in Calvary Cemetery, rural Arcadia.
