Richard Gabriel Moga, 74, of Dodge, Wisconsin passed away at his home on February 6, 2020.
Richard was born in Galesville, Wisconsin on August 16, 1946, to Gabriel and Dorothy (Thomas) Moga. He grew up on the family farm, graduated from Arcadia High School and joined the Army National Guard. He married Susan Peplinski at Sacred Heart Church in Pine Creek. Susan preceded him in death.
Richard was a contractor by Trade and retired. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, picking hickory nuts, a good beer and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Richard is survived by his Daughter: Brenda Childress and her husband Emery Childress III of Dodge, WI; 3 Grandchildren: Steven Leyva-Moga, Raymond Conley, Ryan Conley; 2 Grandchildren by marriage: Chadwick Childress, Emery Childress IIII; 2 Great grandchildren: Alaeh Leyva-Moga, Anthony Paul Leyva-Moga; Brothers: Ronald (Pat) Moga of Arcadia, Patrick (Lynn) Moga of Winona, MN, Dennis (Althea) Moga of Dodge, Gregory (Special friend, Michelle Abts) Moga of Arcadia,. He was preceded in death by both parents: Gabriel and Dorthy Moga; Wife: Susan Moga; Son: Michael Moga; Daughter: Rachel (Shelly) Moga; Grandson: Paul Richard Leyva-Moga; and Mother-in-law: Delphine Kramer.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, February 15, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Parish in Pine Creek with Father Kyle Laylan officiating. Spring burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Pine Creek, Wisconsin. Brunch to follow at Margaret's "Lince's Village Inn" in Pine Creek.
