Richard (Rick) Paul Krumholz, 65, of West Salem died on Thursday, November 6, 2014, at Lakeview Healthcare Center in West Salem. Richard was born on February 28, 1949, in Arcadia to Paul and Ethel (Abts) Krumholz Sr.
Rick grew up in Fountain City, WI; he graduated from Cochrane-Fountain City High School in 1967 and attended college in Eau Claire, Wisconsin. Rick married Carolyn (Ernst) Docken in 1969 in Fountain City, Wisconsin and while together they had two children. He worked for the Army Corp of Engineers, Nabisco and Fil-Mor Trucking. He enjoyed boating on the Mississippi River, fishing, hunting and watching football and NASCAR.
He is survived by his children, Jason Krumholz of Galesville, WI and Melissa Bissett of Denver CO; mother, Ethel Kelley of Mesa, AZ; brother Paul Krumholz Jr. of Mesa, AZ; sisters: Kim (Jay Wallahan) Krumholz of Rapid City, SD, Kate (Larry) Meier of Mesa AZ, and Karen (Dick) Auchampach of Central City, SD. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Jim.
