Richard "Dick" Donald Patrick Feuling, 86, of Blair and formerly of Arcadia, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2018, at Gundersen Tri-County Care Center in Whitehall.
Dick was born in a log cabin outside of Arcadia on July 28, 1932, to Raymond H. and Apollonia "Polly" C. (Kampa) Feuling. On December 12, 1952, Dick enlisted and served proudly in the United States Army, achieving rank of SP2 during the Korean War. He was honorably discharged on March 26, 1956, but continued to be active with the Tickfer-Erickson American Legion Post #17. He married Elizabeth Moe and they were later divorced. He enjoyed played nickel and dime poker games and cards. He was employed with Winona Industries and Dick's Fix-It Shop before working as a supervisor for Ashley Furniture, Industries until his retirement. He was a member of St. Ansgar's Catholic Church in Blair. Dick was an avid sport's fan and enjoyed watching the Packers, Cowboys, Badgers, Brewers, Twins, and Notre Dame Fighting Irish. He also enjoyed tractor and horse pulls, fishing, and playing cards.
Dick is survived by his life companion of 40 years, Carol Langowski of Blair; sons: Bruce and Keith Feuling, both of Winona; daughters: Debra (Rollin) Barkeim of Trempealeau, Paulette Parpart of Winona, Jackie (Dave) Flanigan of Wabasha, Therese (Frankie) Oliver of Hixton; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters: Kathy Molitor of Winona and Judith Neitzel of Buffalo City; and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and great-great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Bob, LaVerne Sr., Ralph, Edmund, Mary in infancy, Adeline Conrad, Jeanette Conrad; and a nephew, Bob Feuling.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2018, at St. John's Catholic Church in Whitehall with Father Woodrow Pace officiating. Family and friends are invited for visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Burial with full Military Rites presented by the Tickfer-Erickson Post #17 will be in Calvary Cemetery, Arcadia.
