Orville J. Schlesser, 83, of Arcadia died on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at Gundersen Tri-County Memorial Hospital in Whitehall, WI. Orville was born on November 17, 1930, in the Twp. of Glencoe, Buffalo Co. WI to Matthew and Therisa (Lorenz) Schlesser.
Orville married Juanita Adank on June 23, 1956, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Waumandee. He worked at Ladish Drop Forge in Cudahy and moved to Arcadia upon retirement. He was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church. Orville and Juanita enjoyed wintering in Brownsville, TX with his daughter, Sennen and her family.
Orville is survived by his wife, Juanita of Arcadia; one daughter, Sennen (Squeezer) Garcia of Brownsville, TX; one son, Leon (Laura) Schlesser of Onalaska; three grandchildren: Kimberly and Rebecka Schlesser, Aric Garcia; two sisters: Joanne (Harold) Manley of Arcadia, Jean (Joe) Carson of Virginia Beach, VA; one brother, Eldon (Corbelle) Schlesser of Nelson. He was preceded in death by two sisters: Rosella Rothering and Shirley Manley.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 21, 2014, at 11:00 AM at St. Boniface Catholic Church with Rev. Brian Jazdzewski officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday from 9:00 AM until the time of services at the church. Burial will be in St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery.
