Myrtle A. Jick, 98, of Blair formerly Trempealeau died on Saturday, July 21, 2013, at Grand View Care Center in Blair, WI.
Myrtle was born on May 4, 1915, in Olmsted County, Minnesota to Hugo and Amanda (Bulau) Fluegel. She married Edmund Jick on November 18, 1938, at the Lutheran Church in Decorah, Iowa. Myrtle was a home maker and in the produce business in rural Trempealeau. She was a member of the Trempealeau Co. Home Makers for 50 years. She enjoyed sewing with her daughter Doris, making doll clothing. She was in Christmas Stamp Club where she had 22 pen pals. Myrtle enjoyed reading and writing.
She is survived by her daughter, Doris Jick of Trempealeau and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edmund.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at 2:00 PM at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home with Rev. Liz Albertson officiating. Friends may call from 1:00 PM until the time of services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Twp. of Trempealeau, WI.
