Michael Edward Lisowski, 37, of Eau Claire passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 1, 2021.
Michael was born on April 10, 1984, to Diane Lisowski and Todd Suchla in Arcadia. He was baptized at Christ Lutheran Church in Arcadia where his family is deeply rooted. Michael graduated with the class of 2003 at Gilmanton High School, where he developed a love of football. This carried through to adulthood, as Michael was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers. Following graduation, Michael completed the 2-year mechanics program at Chippewa Valley Technical College in Eau Claire. Michael was a devoted family man and an amazing dad to his true miracle son and greatest love, Dominic. Michael not only found pride in sharing his favorite hobby of fishing with his son, but was also teaching him the value of being a good person with kind manners and to help others when they were in need. Many of Michael's qualities can be attributed to the example set forth by his own father, Todd, as he shared the same values with Michael while he was growing up. Michael enjoyed listening to heavy metal and rock music, going for nature walks, and drawing, but most importantly, spending quality time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed, until we meet again.
Michael is survived by his son, Dominic; grandfather: Roman Lisowski; aunts: Ramona DeShaw, Nancy (Dean) McHugh, Sandra Olen, Teri (Brian) Putz; uncles: Terry (Pat) Lisowski, Keith (Kristie Erickson) Lisowksi, and Tim (Charlene) Suchla; special friend: Jessica Nimmer; his bonus mom, Julienne Lindberg, who also called Michael her Cabbage Patch kid, as she got to choose to have him in her life; step-sisters: Kayla (Brandon) Thomas and Abbi Anderson; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter: Caitlynn; maternal grandmother: Betty Lisowski; and paternal grandparents: Edward and Shirley Suchla.
A funeral service for Michael will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 5, 2021, at Christ Lutheran Church in Arcadia. Family and friends are invited for visitation from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. before the service at church on Tuesday.
