Mary A. Kolstad, 94, of Blair and formerly of Arcadia, died on Thursday, April 4, 2013, at Grand View Care Center in Blair.
Mary was born on July 13, 1918, in Independence to Peter and Susan (Possom) Puchalla. She married Alex Bautch , he died in 1954. She then married Bernard "Bennie" Kolstad and he died in 1996.
Mary was a member of Holy Family Parish, the PCCW, and the American Legion Auxiliary. Mary and Bennie owned and operated the B&M Bar in Arcadia. She is survived by three sons: Gary (Dr. Smita Rajasekaren) Bautch of Holmen, James Bautch of Arcadia, Donald (Janet Kingsley) Bautch of Winona; four daughters: Shirley Woychik-Brown of Arcadia, Juneth (Dale Strom) Lettner of Venice, FL., Sandra (Roger) Moe of Thorp, WI, and Bonita (Jim) Greeson of Ft. Meyers, FL.; 21 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 9 great, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband's; son: Stanley; brother: Germaine Puchalla; 4 sisters: Stella, Blanch, Gertie, and Clara; and 1 great grandson: Josh.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2013, at 11:30 AM, at Holy Family Parish, with Rev. Tim Oudenhoven officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until the time of service at Holy Family Parish. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, rural Arcadia.
