Marjorie M. Kube, 94, of Arcadia died on Wednesday, August 8, 2018, at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse.
Marjorie was born on February 29, 1924, in Buffalo County, Wisconsin to Lewis and Ida (Tamke) Zeller. She farmed for 30 years, worked at Arcadia Industries, and was a CNA at St. Joseph's Hospital for over 20 years. Marj was the first director for the Arcadia Food Pantry, serving for over 30 years. She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church and the WELCA where she sewed baby diapers for the Missions. She received the Outstanding Citizens Award through the Arcadia Chamber of Commerce. Marjorie attended the YMCA where she was an active participant with the Y Water Arobics. She will be remembered for her love for her family, friends and nature. She enjoyed flowers, gardening, sewing and creating beautiful artwork.
Marjorie is survived by her three daughters: Diane (David) Waniorek, Donna Ryan and Nancy Bautch all of Arcadia; 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son-in-law: Keith Ryan.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at 1:30 PM at Christ Lutheran Church with Rev. Bob Schoenknecht officiating. Family and friends may call from 12:30 PM until the time of services at the church. Burial will be in Glencoe Lutheran Cemetery in rural Arcadia.
