Marion Waldera

July 25, 1931 — August 22, 2024

Marion M. Waldera, 93, of Arcadia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at the Pigeon Falls Healthcare Center.

Marion was born on the farm in rural Arcadia on July 25, 1931, to John and Monica (Suchla) Motszko. She was united in marriage to Severin J. Waldera on June 13, 1949, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church where she was a lifetime member and served with the PCCW. In addition to her service at church, Marion lived to serve and provide meals to her family, friends, and neighbors. She worked in the food service industry at various restaurants, supper clubs and drive-ins, and also ran her own catering business. She was proud to cook and provide food for a multitude of parties including birthdays, retirements, and other celebrations to which she poured her heart and soul into. In her later years, Marion enjoyed attending auctions and stopping at rummage sales.
