Lucinda "Cindy" Haines

Lucinda "Cindy" Mary (Boese) Haines, 58, of Arcadia, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, October 3, 2021, after her courageous battle with pancreatic cancer, with her loved ones by her side.

Cindy was born on September 30, 1963, in Bloomer, WI to Walter and Doris (Fehr) Boese. After graduating from Bloomer High School, Cindy attended Chippewa Valley Technical College, completing degrees in both Accounting and Programming. Years later, Cindy had moved to Arcadia, WI. Cindy was a dedicated employee to Ashley Furniture Industries for over 27 years. She was passionate about her career, the people she worked with and also enjoyed her time volunteering for the business. In addition to her volunteering for Ashley Furniture, she was also a member of the Arcadia Lioness. Cindy enjoyed scrapbooking, card making, reading, camping and most importantly, the time shared with her family and friends. Cindy's love for pets didn't go unnoticed, as she had many pets over the years, each holding a special place in her heart. Above all, Cindy treasured her children, grandchildren and fiancé. She could not have been more proud of her children and grandchildren, and enjoyed their time together. Cindy was a devoted friend to many and helped to create many wonderful memories for others to cherish forever.

Cindy is survived by her fiancé: Troy Peterson; children: Lucas (Natasha) Bleskacek, and Haylee (Dalton Lessman) Haines; step-daughter: Katie Peterson; grandchildren: Justine Bleskacek and Paisley Peterson; mother: Doris Boese; siblings: Walter (Theresa) Boese Jr, (twin) Melvin (JoAnn) Boese, Charles (Diane) Boese and Catherine Boese; nephews: Adam (Danielle) Boese, Chris Robarge, Josh Robarge, and Brandon Osley; niece: Marissa Coleman; "Grandpa and Grandma" Jerry and Sherry Haines.

She was greeted in Heaven by her father: Walter Boese, Sr.

Friends and family are invited for visitation from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, October 5th, at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home, Arcadia, with a 7 p.m. public prayer service, and a visitation one hour prior to the funeral at church. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at Christ Lutheran Church in Arcadia. Burial will take place at a later date in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, rural Arcadia.
