Born March 30, 1962 in St Joseph Hospital, Arcadia. Died April 4, 2025 age 63 on the Slaby family farm/homestead Lewis Valley, Arcadia.

Married Jerry Boberg and later divorced. Married to Don Korpal. Children Jason (friend Ricky) Boberg, Dustin Boberg (deceased 3-08-2003), Denielle (Holst-Slaby) (Bryce) Wolfe. Grandchildren Ella Knutson, Kiley Hermann, Lilith Hermann, Henry Wolfe, Kennedy Wolfe. Parents Florence Marcella (Ressel) Slaby (deceased 10-22-2010) and Gerald Michael Slaby. Siblings Dorette (Robert) Pulse, Dennet Slaby (deceased 6-09-1991), Bryan (Sandy) Slaby, Denise (Ray) Murnane, Gerald “Deetter” (Lastenia) Slaby. Nieces and Nephews Travis Olson, Derek Olson, Valerie McCormick, Mandy Kramer, Matthew Slaby, Rachel Murnane, Michael Murnane, Samuel Murnane, Marcus Easterby, Bailey Tempel, Christian Ceron, Gerald C. Slaby Jr., Sofia Slaby. Also many Grandnieces and Grandnephews.

As all who knew her well, Li Ann was one of a kind. Fearless, strong, way too self-sufficient, but always ready to help anyone out, protect, cheer and support those she loved. Also, sadly, damaged as those of us who knew her most honestly, we understood but could not fix. That trauma never healed and when we honestly share her life and who she was, we always wanted her to love herself as much as we all loved her. Heck of a polka dancer. Trophied arm-wrestler. Loved to fish for bullheads, catfish & make turtle soup and scratchers. She was artistically creatively gifted. Heart of the purest gold. Finest friend one could ever ask for. A smile and a hug for everyone. Li Ann was funny and resilient. Caring and gruff. Frail and wounded, yet tough as hell. She was who we all are, really --- flawed, and perfectly imperfect.
