Lee "Gander" George Andre, 78, of Arcadia died on Tuesday, February 24, 2015, at Pine View Care Center in Black River Falls, WI. Lee was born on February 7, 1937, in North Creek, rural Arcadia to Angus and Thelma (Andre) Andre.
Lee married Jeanette Wiench they later divorced. He was a member of the Arcadia-Glencoe Fire Department for 26 years. Lee was employed by the City of Arcadia on the Street Department.
Lee is survived by one son: Gary Lee Andre of Arcadia; 3 daughters: Sue (Mike) Kotlarz of Arcadia, Betty Jo Krause of Holmen, Lisa (Mark) Lamberson of Whitehall; 5 grandchildren: Michael Lee Kotlarz, Amber (Dallas) Symicek, Samantha Lamberson, Andrew Lamberson, Alexis Krause; 2 great grandchildren: Harper and Jackson Symicek; 3 brothers: Harold (Darlene) Andre of Dodge, Richard Andre of Arcadia , Thomas Andre of Arcadia; 2 sisters: Rosemary (Tom) Klink of Winona and Kathleen (Dave) Glaser of Blair. He was preceded in death by his parents; 1 brother: Robert Andre and 1 sister: Patricia Misch.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2015, at 10:00 AM at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home with Rev. Sebastian Kolodziejczyk officiating. Friends may call on Saturday from 9:00 AM until the time of services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, rural Arcadia. In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to "Family Wishes".
