Jerome James Waldera, 63, of Arcadia, WI, died on Friday, February 3, 2017, at his home. Jerome was born on September 21, 1953, in Arcadia, WI, to Joseph and Veronica (Shepherd) Waldera. On May 15,1976, Jerome married Bernadine Slabik at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Independence, WI.
Jerome farmed until 1991. He then worked at Ashley Furniture as a forklift operator until his retirement in 2016. Jerome was a great husband, father, and brother. Jerome was very kind man and a hard worker. Jerome enjoyed spending time with his family, friends, and co-workers.
Jerome is survived by his wife: Bernadine Waldera of Arcadia; his children: Toni (Eric) Sonsalla, Jennifer Waldera, Natalie (Patrick) Byrnes; brother: Joseph (Patti) Waldera Jr. of Virginia; sisters: Alice (Dennis) Knudsen of Virginia, Darlene (Joseph) Gamoke of Arcadia; 3 grandchildren: Chandler, Whitney, Payton. He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Visitation will be held at Wozney-Killian Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 8, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. with Praying of the Rosary to follow. Visitation will also be held at 10:00 a.m. at St. Michael's Church in North Creek. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m with Reverend Sebastian Kolodziejczyk officiating.Online condolences may be sent to :www.wozneykillianfh.com.
