Jeffery Roberts

Jeffery "Rubs" A. Roberts, 54, of Arcadia, died on Friday, December 3, 2021, unexpectedly at his home.
Jeff was born on June 18, 1967, in St. Charles, Minnesota to Robert "Bob" and Virginia "Gini" (Bradley) Roberts. After graduation, Jeff followed an opportunity to move to Connecticut to manage a Convenience Store, which allowed him to experience the East Coast way of life. During this time, he was united in marriage with a girl "back home", Lyn Sonsalla, on August 28, 1993, at the Cathedral in Winona, MN. Together the couple lived in Connecticut for a short time, and welcomed their son, Blake. Soon after moving back to the Midwest, they welcomed their daughter, Briana, or as her Daddy called her, "Beana Shelly". Though Jeff and Lyn later divorced, they remained friends as they raised their children. Jeff was employed by Ashley Furniture, Industries in Arcadia for over 20 years, working his way up to a superintendent. He was a die-hard Minnesota Vikings fan, right down to his email address 'JARVikings@...' Those that knew Jeff knew of his charisma, how quick he was to make a joke, and that he was always sure to make people laugh. His humor will be missed by all.
Jeff is survived by his children: Blake Roberts of Basalt, CO and Briana Roberts of Greeley, CO; mother: Virginia; of Dovery, MN, sisters: Melissa and Erica; and many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bob, and grandparents.
