Jeanette M. (Grandma Jet) Conrad, 78 of Arcadia, WI, passed away peacefully surrounded by family members on June 29, 2013, at Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse.
Jeanette was born on August 3, 1934, to Raymond and Appollonia (Kampa) Feuling. On October 4, 1952, she married Marvin F. "Charlie" Conrad. They lived in Arcadia where Jeanette worked at Arcadia Fryers and Parkarilla Restaurant. They moved to Independence in 1969 where Jeanette worked at the Independence Box Factory, Child Care Center, farmed and operated Conrad's Bar. Jeanette enjoyed fishing, growing flowers, doing word search puzzles and camping with her family.
Jeanette is survived by her children Gerald Conrad, Roger (Kari) Conrad, Mary (Steven) Pronschinske, Rita (Davie) Kuka, Kay (Peter) Pronschinske; grandchildren Nikki Jurowski, Tammy Conrad, Carrie (Doug) Guenther, Michael (Carrie) Conrad, Sommer Conrad, Ryan and Meagan Pronschinske, Dawn Kuka, Dylan (Samantha) and Logan Pronschinske. Step grandchildren; Kyle, Chad, Morgan Stellpflug. Great grandchildren; Isiah Conrad, Adam (Kaitlyn), Brittany, Erik Guenther, Olivia Conrad, Joshua, Madisyn, Alisyn Conrad and Brayden Pronschinske. Great-great grandchild; Easton Guenther.
Also survived by 2 sisters, 2 brothers, 6 sisters-in-law, and many nieces and nephews. Jeanette was preceded in death by her husband, mother, father, 2 sisters, 3 brothers, and grandparents.
A memorial service will be held at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home in Arcadia, WI on Wednesday July 3, 2013, at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be from 9 to 11 AM, prayer services at 11 AM, and burial service at Calvary Cemetery.
