Jean Ione Schultz, 83, of Arcadia, passed away on Tuesday, December 24, 2019, at Marinuka Manor in Galesville.
Jean was born at home in Traverse Valley, on December 29, 1935, to Morris and Rose (Bautch) Jensen. After graduating from high school, Jean married James "Jim" Schultz on September 13, 1955, in Arcadia. Together the couple farmed side by side in Glencoe, raising crops and their son, Timothy. She lived, loved and worked- but was especially proud of her grandchildren.
Jean is survived by her husband, Jim of Arcadia; son, Tim (Connie) Schultz of Inver Grove Heights, MN; grandchildren: Mikayla and Evan Schultz; sister, Doris Camastral of Eau Claire; sisters-in-law: Pina Jensen of Virginia and Sharon Schultz of Arcadia; brothers: Dennis (Donna) Jensen and Neal Jensen both of Arcadia; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother: Morris "Butch" Jensen; sister-in-law: Betty Boland; brothers-in-law: Darell Schultz and Gordon Schultz; and niece: Debbie Boland.
Private graveside services will be held in Glencoe Lutheran Cemetery. Family and friends are welcome to celebrate Jean's life at noon on Friday, December 27th, 2019, at the home of Sharon Schultz in Arcadia.
