Jane F. Thomas, 64, of Arcadia died on Thursday, December 27, 2018, at Mayo Clinic Health System Franciscan Healthcare in La Crosse, WI. Jane was born on January 11, 1954, in Arcadia to Edward and Margaret (Zeller) Lisowski.
Jane graduated from Arcadia High School in 1972. On November 11, 1978, Jane married Roland "Rollie" Thomas at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Arcadia. Jane and Rollie farmed for many years before owning and operating first Sportsman's Lounge and then years later, JR Sports Bar in Arcadia. After the sale of the bar she remained a loyal employee of John Jaszewski at Jaz on the Tracks. Jane also worked for the school district of Arcadia in the Food Service Department, where interacting with the high school students & staff was the highlight of her days. Jane was always happiest when she was caring for or cooking for others. She enjoyed fishing & deer hunting with her family, shopping with her two girls, her niece Kalene, and her sister Bev, and watching the Green Bay Packers. She spent her days playing with and fussing after her dogs; Ollie, Tegan, and Arthur and having coffee every day with her sister Bev. Jane was hard working, fiercely independent, loyal, and kind. She was proudest to be the wife of Rollie for 40 wonderful years and happiest to be the mother of her three children.
Jane is survived by her husband: Rollie of Arcadia; one son: Willard (Tori Bautch) Thomas of Dodge, WI; two daughters: Whitney (Chris Zurka) Thomas of Jacksonville, FL and Bailey Thomas of Arcadia; two brothers: James (Lisa) Lisowski of Arcadia, Thomas Lisowski of Wabasha, MN; five sisters: Dianna Lisowski of Arcadia, Mary Bautch of Arcadia, Annie Molid of Oshkosh, Jackie (Kurt) Wiersgalla of Whitehall and Beverly Hulberg of Arcadia; many nieces and nephews.
Jane was preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Robert, Michael, John Lisowski, Daniel Zeller; and a sister: Cathy Lisowski.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 11:00 AM at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home, with Rev. Kyle Laylan officiating. Friends may call on Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home where there will be a 7:00 PM prayer service. Burial will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, rural Arcadia. A luncheon will be served at Holy Family Parish after the burial.
