Irene Sobotta

Irene Joan Sobotta, 92, of Arcadia died at her home on Thursday, February 12, 2015, with her family by her side. Irene was born on December 21, 1922, in London, England to William and Elizabeth (Smith) Lee. She married La Verne Eugene "Susie" Sobotta on December 26, 1943, in London England.
Irene was a member of Holy Family Parish and had worked at Wincraft in Winona, MN for over 30 years. She was one of the first employees to be hired at Wincraft.
Irene is survived by her 3 children: James (Susan) Sobotta of Money Creek, MN, Linda Sobotta of Arcadia, Patrick Sobotta of Arcadia; special niece: Maureen Kay of Winona, MN; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; 2 sisters: Patricia Kay and Dorothy "Dolly" Pole, both of London, England.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; her husband; 2 sons: Chuck and Bob Sobotta; 4 brothers: William, Mont, Robert, Donald; and 2 sisters: May and Marjorie.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 16, 2015, at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Parish with Rev. Sebastian Kolodziejczyk officiating. Friends may call on Sunday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home where there will be a 7:00 PM prayer service followed by a rosary. They may also call on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, rural Arcadia.
