On Wednesday, July 10th, 2024, Harold Hoesley, age 83, passed away peacefully at home in Tellico Village, Tennessee. Beloved husband of Carol for 60 years. Father of Bridgette Ganter of Cary, NC, and Craig Hoesley and his wife Manci of Birmingham, AL. Grandfather of Christopher Ganter of Bridgton, ME, Jackson Hoesley of Fayetteville, AR, Adam Hoesley of Birmingham, AL, Madeline Ganter of Chapel Hill, NC, Sam Hoesley of Auburn, AL, and Luke Hoesley of Birmingham, AL.

Harold was born in LaCrosse, Wisconsin and traveled the world in the U.S. Navy. He became a restaurant entrepreneur, opening businesses in Minnesota, Iowa, and Florida. Harold was a talented artist and woodworker and loved being out on the water, fishing lakes, rivers, and the sea.

Harold is preceded in death by his mother, Irene Hoesley, and sister, Mary Wieman.

The family will hold a graveside service on Sunday, August 18th at 11:30 AM at Calvary Cemetery in Arcadia, Wisconsin with Deacon Mike Kamrowski officiating. Military Honors will be presented by Tickfer-Erickson American Legion Post #17.
