Gary J. Doelle, 71, of Fountain City, WI died on Wednesday, August 12, 2015, at Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, WI. He was born on May 28, 1944, in Arcadia to Joseph and Phyllis (Forsythe) Doelle. Gary married Kay Pronschinske on September 20, 1969, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Arcadia.
Gary farmed in the township of Glencoe. He was a former member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church. Gary's interest include: deer hunting, "Late Model/Modified car racing for 29 years" on a dirt track, motorcycling, and snowmobiling. He had been a member of the Glencoe Drifters Snowmobile Club. He loved heavy equipment and was very gifted with his mechanical skills.
Gary is survived by his wife: Kay of Fountain City; son: John (Carla) Doelle of Arcadia; daughter: Jan Doelle of Fountain City; 2 brothers: Don (Lynn) Doelle and Dave (Annette) Doelle both of Fountain City; 2 sisters: Darlene (Kenny) Frie of Arcadia, Mary (Ron) Bakke of Aurora, CO; 12 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Joseph in infancy.
Friends may call on Sunday, August 16, 2015, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home where there will be a 4:00 PM Prayer Service with Rev. Sebastian Kolodzieczyk. A Celebration of Life will be at 5:00 PM at the Glencoe Town Hall, W104 Hwy 95, Arcadia, WI. Burial will be at a later date.
