Frances Rotering

Frances Rotering, 89, of Arcadia died on Sunday, August 4, 2013, at Benedictine Manor Arcadia Nursing Home. Frances was born on October 30, 1923, in Buffalo County to Frank and Josephine (Jaskola) Grulkowski. She married Roman Rotering on June 6, 1950, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Waumandee. Roman died in 1991. She was a homemaker, a member of Holy Family Parish, a former member of O.L.P.H. Catholic Church and the St. Anne's Rosary Society. Frances enjoyed making quilts and sewing.
Frances is survived by 4 sisters; Mary Stiehl of Winona, Antoinette Baures of Winona, Rose Ann Berberich of Circle Pines, MN, and Margaret (Alfred) Schlesser of Arcadia, 1 brother; Emil Grulkowski of Winona, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and an infant son; Edward Albin in 1964, 2 sisters; Gertrude Passe, Virginia Horsnell, 1 brother Roman Grulkowski, 3 brothers and 1 sister in infancy.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, August 6, 2013, at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Parish with Rev. Sebastian Kolodziejczyk officiating. Friends may call from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the church on Tuesday. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Twp. Glencoe, Wisconsin.
