Eunice J. Neitzel, 80, of Arcadia died on Monday, August 15, 2016, at Grand View Care Center in Blair, WI. Eunice was born on December 7, 1935, in Winona, MN to Arthur and Lulu (Trim) Bortle.
Eunice married Robert Neitzel on July 13, 1957, in Fountain City, WI. Eunice and Bob farmed in rural Arcadia. Eunice was a dedicated farm wife, hardworking, loved caring for her family, cooking, embroidery, gardening, motorcycling and snowmobiling with Bob. They made many trips to South Dakota and out west on their motorcycle. To know Eunice was to love her.
Eunice is survived by her husband: Bob of Arcadia; her children: Randy Neitzel of Sioux Falls, SD, Roger Neitzel of Arcadia, Steven (Juanita) Neitzel of Arcadia, Keith (La Vonne Klonecki) Neitzel of Arcadia, Diane (Richard) Schultz of Watertown, SD, and Todd (Melissa) Neitzel of Dodge; grandchildren: Crystal, Katie, Kory, Jessica, Adam, James, Sharon, Selena, Camron; great granddaughter: Saria; sisters: Margaret Ziegler and Eunice's twin sister, Janice (Larry) Engen both of Galesville. She was preceded in death by her son: Kevin, daughter: Sharon; sisters: Delores Williamson, Laura Tiepelman, Vivian Salsman, Elaine Lindberg; and her brother: Norval Bortle.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016, at 11:00 AM at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home in Arcadia, with Pastor May Beth Scow officiating. Friends may call on Friday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home and then again on Saturday from 10:00 AM until the time of services. Burial will be at a later date.
