Eleanore Maier

Eleanore M. Maier, 71, of Arcadia died on Thursday, October 29, 2015, at her home. She was born on July 14, 1944, in Independence, WI to Albert and Theresa (Waletzki) Lisowski. Eleanore married Myles Maier on April 22, 1961, at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Independence, WI.
Eleanore enjoyed reading, taking care of her flowers and being outside.
Eleanore is survived by her two children: Daniel (Tammy) Maier of Buffalo City, and Deborah (Jeff) Stanek of Minnesota City, MN; 3 grandchildren and one step grandson: Arianna Hesch, Shane Stanek, Brianna Stanek, and Justin Peterson; 8 great grandchildren: Danielle, Bradley, Nevaeh Hesch, Paul Stanek, Erin, Alex, Dustin and Callie Peterson; and 2 sisters: Esther Daliege of Galesville and Theresa (Peter) Olson of Pigeon Falls. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Myles on April 16, 2000; 3 brothers: Joe, Albert, Conrad (in infancy) Lisowski and 1 sister: Mary Rose Lisowski in infancy.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, November 3, 2015, at 10:30 AM at St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery in Waumandee, WI with the Rev. Brian Jazdzewski. It was Eleanore wish not to have a funeral service.
