Edward Roy Pellowski, 88, of Arcadia, passed away on Monday, August 13, 2018, at the Grandview Care Center in Blair.
Ed was born in Dodge on August 12, 1930, to Albert and Anastasia (Gostkowski) Pellowski. He was a lifetime member of Sacred Heart Parish, where he was baptized and confirmed. Ed farmed all of his life and enjoyed honest work in addition to woodworking, cooking, gardening, hunting, and teasingly giving a hard time to his nieces and nephews. He eagerly married the love of his life, Alicia, on his 88th birthday on Sunday, August 12, 2018 at the Grandview Care Center after 32 wonderful years of partnership.
Ed will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Alicia Ose-Pellowski of Arcadia; sister: Mary Ann Haines of Winona; nieces and nephews: Jerry (Judy) and Ronnie Haines, Richie, Joseph (Judy), and Donnie Losinski, Michael, Paulie (Sonja), Annie, and Millie Bjurkos, and Mary (John) Suddie; and numerous great-nieces and nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lambert and Joseph; sisters, Helen Losinski and Gert Bjurkos; and nephews, Bobbie Haines, Jerry and Joe Bjurkos.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, August 17, 2018, at Sacred Heart Parish in Pine Creek with Father Kyle Laylan officiating. Family and friends are invited for visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of service at church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Pine Creek.
