Delores Thomas

Delores Agatha Thomas, 87, of Dodge, passed away surrounded by her family on October 12, 2021, at Mayo Clinic Health System-Franciscan Healthcare in La Crosse.
Delores was born on January 31, 1934, to Robert and Amelia (Goroski) Wicka. After graduating from high school, Delores was united in marriage to Marcel Thomas on November 14, 1953, at Sacred Heart Parish in Pine Creek. She was devoted to her home and her church, raising 6 children and serving with the Sacred Heart Rosary Society. Delores also volunteered with the Dodge Sportsman's Club and cooked for the Senior Citizens of Trempealeau County. Delores worked diligently for over 50 years as a waitress and bartender at the Hillside Fish House, where she loved interacting with the customers.
Delores is survived by her children: Robert, Sr. of Dodge, Brian of Dodge, Patrick (Jean) of Rochester, MN, Mitchell (Becky) Thomas of Eleva, Mary Kay (Daniel) Meyer of Rochester, MN, and Amy Thomas of Savage, MN; grandchildren: Robert (Rachel) Thomas, Jr., Carrie (Kyle) Taysom), Matthew (fiancé, Elizabeth) Thomas, Michaela Thomas, Emily Thomas, Craig (Erika) Thomas, and Justin Thomas; great-grandchildren: Grahm, Quinn, and Glen; siblings: Bernard (Joanne) Wicka of Pulaski, WI, Elizabeth "Betty" (Robert) Fratzke of Winona, Loretta (Francis) Pehler of Arcadia, and Donald (Mary) Wicka of Buffalo City; sister-in-law: Alice Wicka of Winona; and many nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; and siblings: Gerald, Vincent (Dolores), David and Geraldine (Robert) Herrick.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at Sacred Heart Parish with Father William Kulas officiating. Family and friends are welcome for visitation on Monday, October 18, 2021, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Wozney-Killian Funeral Home, Arcadia, where there will be a 7 p.m. Rosary. Visitation will also be held one hour prior to the service at church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Pine Creek.
