David Bremer

David John Bremer, 66, of Arcadia died on December 23, 2020, at his home. David was born on July 27, 1954, in Arcadia to John and Marie (Feltes) Bremer.
Dave graduated from Arcadia High School with the class of 1972. He farmed in the town of Glencoe until his retirement. Dave loved his International tractors and was always doing repairs on his 12 tractors or for others. On the 4th of July, neighbors and friends could be found at Dave's for a spectacular celebration. The sky would be filled with fireworks. His nephew remarked that Dave will be remembered for his love of the color "Red": red tractors and red beer cans. He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters.
Dave is survived by his 2 brothers: Richard (Doreen) Bremer and Daniel Bremer both of Arcadia; several nieces, nephews, and their children. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers: Joseph in infancy, Alfred in 1949 at the age of 14, and Donald in 2013.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 1, 2021, at St. Joseph's Cemetery, rural Arcadia, with Sherry Reck-Haines officiating.
