Betty Jane Knutson, 72, of Arcadia died on Thursday, September 13, 2018, at Mayo Clinic Franciscan Health System in La Crosse. Betty was born on March 22, 1946, in Arcadia to Lambert and Clarice (Bjorge) Urbick.
Betty married Howard S. Knutson on September 5, 1964, at Christ Lutheran Church in Arcadia. She was a home maker, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Betty enjoyed having rummage sales, gardening, her flowers, doing sudoku, eating radishes and cheese puffs.
Betty is survived by her 4 children: Beverly (Matthew) Goetting of Whitehall, James (Jennifer) Knutson of Arcadia, Erik Knutson of Whitehall, Sandra (Andy) Hoch of Arcadia; bothers: Larry (Janet) Urbick of Marshfield, Roger Urbick of Whitehall, Lambert "Herbie" Urbick of Independence; sister: Sharon (Robert) Byrne of Trempealeau; 6 grandchildren: Josh (Michelle) Goetting, Rachel (Jason Rindal) Goetting, Samantha and Nicholas Knutson, Madisyn and Hollie Wagner; 4 great grandchildren: Jaaziah Rindal, Jarrett Goetting, Logan and Matthew Knutson. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband: Howard on 10-6-99; sisters: Joyce Moe and Sonia Raab.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 17, 2018, at 11:00 AM at Christ Lutheran Church with Rev. Bob Schoenknecht officiating. Friends and family may call on Sunday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home. They may also call on Monday from 10:00 AM until the time of services at the church. Burial will be in Fagernes Lutheran Cemetery, rural Blair.
