Angeline "Angie" Lyga, 92, of Winona and formerly Arcadia, died on Sunday February 10, 2013, at Lake Winona Manor in Winona, MN. She was born on March 22, 1920, in the Township of Burnside, Trempealeau Co., to Egnotz and Agnes (Kampa) Przybilla. One June 12, 1939, Angeline married Joseph Lyga at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Independence, WI.
Together she and Joe farmed, and she also worked for Arcadia Industries and the Galesville Canning Factory. She was a member of Holy Family Parish; Angeline loved the Lord and had faith in Him. She enjoyed doing garden work and most of all the beauty of her flowers.
Angeline was a loving mother and grandmother and will be missed by her family. She is survived by three daughters; Phyllis Tollefson of Hinckley, MN, Betty Mitchell of White Bear Lake, MN and Janice Kampa of Winona, MN, 7 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 8 great, great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph on August 12, 1981, three brothers; Alosie, Eugene and Edward Przybilla, a sister; Theresa Marsolek, and a great grandson; Jacob Juelich.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 15, 2013, at 11:30 AM at Holy Family Parish with Father Raj officiating. Friends may call on Friday from 10:30 AM until the time of services at Church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, rural Arcadia.
