Allen George

Allen E. George, 77, of Arcadia died on Friday, April 3, 2015, at his home. Allen was born on October 11, 1937, in Arcadia to Norman J. and Lillian (Hundt) George. Allen graduated from Arcadia High School in 1957. He was a dairy farmer. Allen loved farming in the Town of Glencoe, where he also raised corn, and soybeans. He was a member of Holy Family Parish. You could see Allen around Arcadia and the country side driving and visiting with friends.
Allen is survived by his brother: Anthony "Tony" (Barb) George of Arcadia; sisters: Jo Ann (Marcel) Kujak of Alma Center, Leone Olson of Independence, Mary Kay (Leon) Susa of Litchfield, MN; 12 nieces and 7 nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother: Norman George Jr. and niece: Stacey Matchey.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2015, at 11:00 AM at Holy Family Parish in Arcadia with Rev. Sebastian Kolodziejczyk officiating. Friends may call on Tuesday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home where there will be a 7:00 PM prayer service. They may also call on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery in the Twp. of Glencoe, rural Arcadia.
