Adeline E. Klopotek, 93, of Arcadia died on Friday, April 27, 2018, at her home. Adeline was born on July 19, 1924, in Arcadia to Michael and Clara (Smieja) Shepard. She married Eugene Klopotek on May 20, 1946.
Adeline was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and its St. Ann's Rosary Society, she also was a member of the St. Joseph's Hospital Auxiliary since 1972, and also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary since 1963, of which she was treasurer for 26 years. She loved her volunteer work at the Catholic School, St. Joseph's Hospital, at church, at Memorial Park and the Community. She received the Volunteer Community Service Award in 1995.
She is survived by her son: Kenneth (Elizabeth) Klopotek of Arcadia; 3 grandchildren: Tami (Daniel) Christiansen, Todd (Madonna) Klopotek, Bryce Klopotek; 4 great grandchildren; sister: Arvella Patterson of Everett, WA; her former daughter-in-law and caregiver: Sherry Reck-Haines; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Adeline was preceded in death by her parents, her husband in 1986; her son: Wayne in 2001; her sister: Bernice Urbick in 2007; and a brother and sister in infancy.
Services will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2018, at the Wozney-Killian Funeral Home with a rosary and service at 7:00 PM. Friends may call from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, rural Arcadia. In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Red Cross or the Donor's choice.
